QC Inspector required for various locations

Job Description:

QC Inspector Grade shall have an HNC or HND (or equivalent) and 10 years general inspection experience. QC inspectors must be qualified in welding inspection as CSWIP / PCN Senior Welding Inspector or similar Approved by Company. The QC Inspector shall have demonstrable experience in the following:
a) Mechanical testing of materials
b) Radiographic interpretation to CSWIP / PCN or ASNT level II as a minimum.
c) Review of materials certificates and verification of traceability
d) Material storage and handling
e) Ability to read construction drawings
f) Piping fabrication
g) Structural steel fabrication
h) Pressure vessel and heat exchanger fabrication, including cladding materials
i) Welding and fit up inspection
j) Visual inspection of welds
k) Blasting and painting inspection
l) Radiographic interpretation
m) Sound knowledge of non-destructive testing procedures
n) Review of non-destructive testing reports
o) Hydrostatic testing of piping and pressure vessels
p) Coating painting inspection
q) Review and assess progress claimed by the vendor

Requirements:

• All personnel shall be physically and medically fit to perform their duties / functions.
• All personnel must possess current and valid medical certificates.
• All personnel if required for work offshore must have valid BOSIET & HUET certificates.
• All inspection reports shall be in the English language.
• Fluency in the English language for all personnel will shall be in accordance with the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) grade 6 as a minimum.
