Responsibilities:

Sourcing of marine and oil & gas package equipment/parts/materials.

Review purchase requisitions and PO in accordance with the project requirement and time schedule.

Liaise with project team and external vendors to ensure that the equipment / parts and costs are met within project’s specification and budget.

Manage full spectrum of purchasing process (sourcing, quotation, negotiation, shipping and deliver etc.)

Issue and process of PO in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Expediting order, monitor and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements:

Recognised academic qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Diploma in Purchasing Management will be an advantage.

Minimum 5 years experience in marine and oil & gas industry.

Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.

Experience in machinery procurement is preferred.

Good knowledge of financial and legal terms.
