Either 2 years as Master Mariner on a similar type of unit.

Or Minimum of 4 years as Chief Mate in the Offshore Industry, 2 years of which on a similar type of Jack-Up Unit.

Requirements:

Master Mariner STCW 95, II/2 Offshore Crisis Management capability certificate by OPCO approved 3rd party.

Senior DPO Qualifications.

Master Mariner STCW 95, II/2 Offshore Crisis Management capability certificate by OPCO approved 3rd party

2 years in the industry with a minimum of 2 years in a senior related position on similar types of Unit as per IMCA 117 Section 6.

2500 watch keeping hours on DP Equivalent alternative DP training and logbooks may be considered. ie. Nautical Institute).
