Marine Systems Services Engineer

Job Description:

• Analysis of equipment faults on site
• Equipment repairs and installation, including configuration and parameter setting
• Installation supervision, pre-commissioning checks and commissioning, including interfacing of hardware and software
• Execution of warranty tasks as well as service and maintenance jobs
• Briefing of ship crews, introduction of crews into equipment operation
• Fault analysis with respect to required spare parts and necessary actions
• Presentation and handover of systems to shipyards, classification society and shipping company representatives
• Generating service and commissioning reports as well as feedback regarding technical contents
• Generating assessments
• Remote diagnosis
• Attendance of sea trials
• Timely completion and submission of time sheets, service reports and all other relevant documents to superior for administrative and accounting purposes

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience (service).
• Knowledge of ship operations.
