Knowledge in development and review of Quality Plans (QP’s), Process Control Plans (PCP’s), and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP’s) in accordance with specified requirements and codes.
Strong knowledge of NDE processes: MPI, LP, UT, RT.
Knowledge in Welding inspection, procedures, techniques and personnel qualifications. Experienced in the use and interpretation of various codes i.e., ASME, AWS, API and customer supplemental specifications. AWS CWI certification preferred.
Knowledgeable in various coating applications, controls, and inspections. Coatings include: Paint, Thermal-Sprayed Aluminum, Fusion Bonded Epoxy, and Fireproofing as a minimum.
Experienced with various types of oilfield equipment, assembly and testing procedures, and industry requirements.
Experienced in Tubulars and connections machining, inspection and assembly processes.
Dimensional control experience with a wide range of instruments, techniques, and applications. Knowledge and experience with gage control, calibration and gaging requirements and techniques.
Documentation verification as required by codes and specifications.
Experienced in monitoring manufacturing and inspection to determine if QP’s, PCP’s, and ITP’s, procedures, and purchase order specifications are being met.
Connection evaluations to API or ISO requirements. Includes validation of test pressures and loads.
Perform work-in-process and product audits to established QP’s, PCP’s, and ITP’s for effective implementation.
Dispositions and corrective actions relating to non-conformances as well as identifying process improvements that improve schedules.
Scheduling of manufacturing processes with suppliers to meet process and delivery requirements.
Working with Suppliers to develop or improve their quality systems.
Quality assurance and quality control management and supervision.
Evaluation of suppliers: primary and subcontractors.
Familiar with Hardness testing requirements
Strong knowledge in Root Cause Failure Analysis/TapRooT or any other relevant method for quality related incident investigations
Strong Knowledge in NS-1 & NS-2 standards
Knowledge in inspection of lifting & hoisting equipments
