Job Description:
We are looking for a Dimensional Surveyor !
Review Company approved EPCIC Contractor’s Inspection & Test Plan for familiarisation with critical areas of the work and stipulated dimensional checking.
Review dimensional surveying procedures, work practices and method statements prior to work commencing.
Verify the condition and maintenance of measuring and recording equipment to ensure it is within the manufacturer’s tolerances and meets the specified accuracy criteria.
Verify reference markers are accurately placed, clearly identified and protected from either movement or removal.
Check setting-out points, lines and profiles and verify that all results recorded to meet the required quality standard.
Check and verify the accuracy of all recorded survey data, including measurements and calculations.
Highlight any variations between the specified data and actual recorded data, and report to the Company Project Management Team.
Foster a positive working environment towards upholding the Company expectations with respect to Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
Requirements:
The candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of current Surveying methods, with a minimum of 8 years experience in a similar position within the onshore/offshore Oil & Gas industry, and hold a degree in Surveying / Geomatics Engineering, or alternative acceptable to the Company.
