To plan and allocate the necessary manpower duty roster.
To review the daily activities and operations that happen in the premises and to report to the Estate Mgmt Exec of unusual or suspicious incidents.
To approve the Security Guards time sheets & leave.
To supervise the recording of movement of goods and visitors in and out of the premises.
To supervise the recording of the personal particulars of the crew members on-board alongside the wharf and to record the movement of the crew.
To supervise the recording of the movement of the goods in and out of the wharf.
To supervise the checking of vehicles coming in and out of the premises.
To patrol building premises and report of any safety/security hazards.
To render assistance incase of emergencies (eg, fire, burglary, etc)
To ensure good housekeeping on the safety and security in accordance with company regulations and procedures.
Estate Management
Responsible for recording the utilities and water distribution (Meter reading) between the Tenants and Landlord.
To report if any irregularities found during patrol check.
Port Facility Security
Assist the Port Facility Security Officer.
Monitor the security of the Port Faculties.
To conduct checks on the incoming ships and liaise with the ship’s SSO on the security level.
Security to provide passes which must be displayed to identify individual’s entitlement to be within the restricted area, ensure that the system is on-going.
Provide special places for vehicles allowed access to restricted area.
Routine checking of cargo, cargo transport units and cargo storage areas within the port facilities prior to and during cargo handling operations.
Checks to ensure that cargo entering the port facilities matches the delivery note or equivalent cargo documentation.
Undertaking searches on board the vessel with the assistance from the security officer/Guards.
Inform Security officer on the impending arrival of the vessels and instruct them to undertake the searches of persons, personal effects, vehicles and their contents for those seeking entry or departure to and from the port facilities in connection with the vessel.
Liaise with the Security officer to engage additional security guards to guard access points and patrol of the perimeter barriers.
To assist in coming up with Security plans and procedures.
